
Tanja Caldwell is a Costume Designer, Assistant Costume Designer, and Wardrobe Stylist with over a decade of experience in both the fashion and film industries.
She began her career wardrobe styling celebrity musicians like Big Boi of OutKast, Ludacris, and Janelle Monae for various press events, music videos, and tours while attending college in Atlanta, Georgia at her Alma Mater, Spelman College.
After relocating to Los Angeles, Tanja utilized her celebrity fashion styling skills to parlay a career in Costume Design for film and television. She has since worked on the highly anticipated sequel, "Coming 2 America", starring Eddie Murphy, as well as worked alongside the legendary Costume Designer, Ruth Carter, on the Oscar award winning, Marvel's "Black Panther". Her contribution to the Costume Design of the film "Queen and Slim" alongside Shiona Turini earned a 'Excellence in a Contemporary Film' nomination at the Costume Designers' Guild Awards.
Tanja's experiences and passion for music, fashion, art and film partnered with her drive for excellence in all she does, makes her the well rounded, exceptional creative artist and costume designer she is today.
